Today, the overall stability of the low-grade caustic soda market in Shandong, with some companies supporting prices with their low inventory levels and continuing to see small increases, while most companies’ sales are mainly balanced by basic demand. The high-grade caustic soda remains relatively strong in the short term, supported by export orders. Among them, mainstream transactions for 32% ion membrane caustic soda in southwestern Shandong are between 650-710 yuan/ton; in eastern and central Shandong, 32% ion membrane caustic soda mainly trades at 650-720 yuan/ton, while 50% ion membrane caustic soda has risen to 1260-1330 yuan/ton; in northern Shandong, 32% ion membrane caustic soda mainly trades at 680-720 yuan/ton; in southern Shandong, 32% ion membrane caustic soda mainstream transactions have increased to 770-790 yuan/ton.
