The General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates issued a statement on the 13th, saying that air transportation adjustments caused by recent regional tensions in the Middle East are now recovering, and overall airline operations across the country remain stable. Data shows that between March 1 and 12, UAE airports facilitated approximately 1.4 million passenger trips, with a total of 7,839 flights taking off and landing in UAE airspace during the same period. Currently, the capacity of UAE airlines has recovered to 44.6% of pre-conflict levels. The statement said that, prioritizing safety, the UAE aviation sector is actively responding to phased challenges. Since the U.S. and Israel launched military strikes against Iran on February 28, tensions in the Middle East have persisted. Due to disruptions in regional airspace operations, flights in the Middle East were temporarily canceled on a large scale. (Xinhua News Agency)
