Recently, the secondary market has been arguing about royalties again, as if about to throw a fit.

Honestly, creators obviously want to get paid, but platforms and those who push prices down are not fools either; everyone just wants to shift costs onto others.
The problem is, once royalties become "voluntary," it's similar to tipping—ultimately, it depends on who has a stronger fist and more traffic, and small creators can hardly expect anything.

My first reaction when buying things now isn't "artistic value," but "how much will I have to pay when reselling, and how much Gas will I burn," and once I do the math, my mood stabilizes...
A few days ago, I encountered on-chain operations with constant refreshing/retrying, queuing so long I doubted my life, and the more I thought about it, the more I felt: costs are the most genuine consensus.

By the way, the funding rate is also extreme again, with discussions in the group about whether to reverse or continue squeezing the bubble.
The dispute over royalties is actually similar: when emotions are high, everyone thinks rules can be changed, prices can be changed too; but when things cool down, they realize that the ones who end up paying are usually not the loudest.
That's all for now, I’m too lazy to rant too much.
