Unrealized losses really are more likely to cause insomnia than unrealized gains… Clearly, it's all “not considered a loss until you sell,” but I quickly dismiss the small profits on paper as just air, while the green ones seem to constantly remind me, “Did you see this wrong?” Honestly, loss aversion is so irrational; the pain of losing 1 dollar can outweigh the thrill of earning 2 dollars.

Recently, I've been watching Layer2 projects argue heatedly over TPS, fees, and ecosystem subsidies. I’ve become more cautious: the more lively the debate, the easier it is to convince myself, “If I don’t buy now, I’ll miss out,” and then when I pull back, I start doubting everything. My current trick is: keep my position small enough that even unrealized losses won’t affect my sleep; if I really want to add, I wait until my emotions settle down first—better to miss out than to rush in.
