Artemis announced on April 1, 2026, that Ethereum has surpassed the 200 million mark in quarterly transactions for the first time ever, giving the Ethereum network activity record for a quarterly period its main named source.

Vinebold, citing Artemis data, reported that Ethereum processed 200.4 million transactions in the first quarter of 2026, an increase of approximately 43% from the previous quarter, a sustainable step that carries more weight than just a one-day surge because the metric covers a full three-month period of network usage.
