Recently, everyone has been saying "Why does on-chain data keep lagging," and actually, it's quite common: front-end displays rely heavily on indexers/Subgraphs to first organize on-chain logs into "queryable tables." When there's a delay, you feel like balances, transactions, and cross-chain statuses are stuck in the previous second; add in RPC rate limiting (public nodes getting overwhelmed), requests get queued or timeout, and the page feels even more glitchy. When new L1/L2 chains launch incentives to boost TVL, that wave of "mining, claiming, selling" traffic surges, making these components more likely to buckle. My approach is pretty simple: wait a bit longer before key actions, switch to a different RPC, or check if the block explorer matches. I treat complexity as an enemy—fewer buttons, the better; slowing down can actually make things faster.
