Last night, I was watching the on-chain night session, and the page suddenly "froze" for a moment. I thought my internet was acting up again... Later, I realized it was probably the indexer/Subgraph still catching up with new blocks, or RPC was rate-limited. The data isn't not coming; it's just queued up. To put it simply, what you see as "real-time" is often "as real-time as possible."

Recently, some people have also been complaining that on-chain data tools and tagging systems are a bit laggy, and even misleading. I now think of them as streetlights, not the sun: they can give a rough idea, but shouldn't be taken as the truth. By the way, here's a little trick: I set my targets smaller — I don't chase every transaction, only focus on a few key addresses and rhythms. This actually helps me stick with it longer, and I don't feel as exhausted.
