I just encountered network congestion again, mempool is like waiting in line to buy bubble tea—you think placing an order means it's done, but actually you're just taking a number and waiting to be called. If the gas fee is set too low, it stays pending; if it's set too high, it might not confirm immediately, and there are also a bunch of "cutting in line" transactions ahead. Honestly, you can't really control the order of transactions.

Someone in the group was criticizing miners/validators for earning too much and MEV disrupting the queue. I understand... but right now, I’m only doing two things: when I see congestion, I take a sip of water and don’t rush to send two transactions in quick succession; if I really want to change something, I use replace-by-fee to bump the fee. Otherwise, I’m just creating anxiety over "why hasn't it been confirmed yet," which can lead to reactive trading. Anyway, if I can wait, I wait; if I can't, I cancel. Emotions are more expensive than transaction fees.
