Recently, I’ve been noticing that on-chain data often “lags,” but actually, it’s not the chain stopping—it’s the layer you’re viewing struggling: the indexer needs to scan blocks, the Subgraph has to organize events into queryable data, and RPC might be rate-limited, causing queues when busy. You might think there’s no transaction, but after a couple of minutes, everything gets replenished when you refresh… Basically, it’s just a data pipeline bottleneck.

Lately, AI Agents and automated trading are hot topics again, and everyone’s talking about how “smart” automatic interactions are, but I care more about which RPC provider they’re using, whether they have retries and failure fallback mechanisms—otherwise, rate limiting can lead to misjudging signals, chasing delays, and it’s easier to lose composure. I’ll wait until my emotions settle before taking action—slower but more reliable. Let’s talk about it again next time.
