Sinopec News: Petrochemical companies increase parking and load reduction, market prices may rise

This week, polyethylene market prices declined. As of April 1st, the mainstream prices for LLDPE ranged from 8,450 to 9,800 yuan per ton, down 100 yuan per ton from the average price last week. Crude oil prices experienced wide fluctuations, and geopolitical events still carry uncertainties. Downstream product prices are not passing through smoothly, and their ability to accept high-priced sources is limited. Petrochemical and trading companies have slightly adjusted their prices. More petrochemical enterprises producing oil-based polyethylene have halted or reduced production, leading to decreased supply in the future. It is expected that polyethylene market prices will rise next week. (Zhuochuang Information)
