Recently, a bunch of L2 projects have been arguing over TPS, fees, and subsidies, making a fuss like a marketplace... But what worries me even more is something more fundamental: if the oracle feed is slow by half a beat, your position might have already "made the decision" for you. Liquidation doesn’t play fair; even if the price has already recovered, the on-chain response might still be delayed. Once the threshold is triggered, it gets liquidated, and looking back, all you can say is "the data was like that at the time." To put it simply, delays may not necessarily cause you to lose more, but they will make you lose more without much patience.
My partner also complained about me: you watch the price like you watch the weather forecast, and when it really rains, you don’t even bring an umbrella... I can only admit that now I’d rather keep leverage lighter, leave some buffer, and not race so hard with the feed.
