Today (the 20th), the second domestically produced large cruise ship, “Aida Huacheng,” successfully completed its dry dock and has fully transitioned into the dock testing phase. According to reports, as of now, the project has exceeded 94% overall progress, with interior decoration completed at 81.9%, debugging at 68.3%, and the inspection rates for public areas, cabins, and key systems all surpassing the plan ahead of schedule. The “Aida Huacheng” has a gross tonnage of over 140k tons, a length of 341 meters, a width of 37.2 meters, and a total of 2,130 rooms onboard, capable of accommodating more than 5,200 passengers. It features multiple new room types and is equipped with more immersive and entertainment-oriented facilities. In the future, it will operate international routes with Guangzhou Nansha as its home port. According to the plan, after completing dry dock today, the “Aida Huacheng” will conduct sea trials by the end of May and is scheduled for delivery by the end of the year. (CCTV News)
