Loss cutting really is a bit like a breakup, dragging it out without admitting it. On the surface, it's "wait a bit longer," but in reality, you're paying interest every day: opportunity cost, emotional drain, and watching the market. To put it plainly, the loss has already happened; the later you wait, the longer you prolong the pain. Recently, I almost impulsively uninstalled my trading app, feeling ashamed of being led around by the market... Later, I realized that uninstalling only treats the symptoms, not the root cause. It's better to honestly break down my positions: what is this segment of gains really relying on? Is the subsidy almost gone? Can I handle the risk? Is the deadline locked in too tightly? By the way, recently the disputes over compliance boundaries for privacy coins/mixing coins have been quite intense, making me even less willing to touch high-uncertainty assets. Better to admit defeat and exit; sleeping is more profitable than APY.
