Li Yongming, the new Director of China Merchants Group, has been appointed Deputy Secretary of the Group's Party Committee
On March 6, China Merchants Group and Tsinghua University signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Miao Jianmin, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Merchants Group, held talks with Qiu Yong, Party Secretary of Tsinghua University and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and witnessed the signing of the agreement by both sides. Li Yongming, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of China Merchants Group, and Guo Yong, Deputy Party Secretary of Tsinghua University, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. This also means that Li Yongming, who previously served as Deputy General Manager, Party Member of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited, and Vice President of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited’s listed entity, China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited, has now taken up the new role of Deputy Party Secretary and Director of China Merchants Group.
