Sichuan: By the end of 2027, 2.05 million charging facilities will be built across the province.
The Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and other departments issued the “Sichuan Province Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Service Capacity Doubling Action Plan.”
The action plan proposes to accelerate the improvement of the charging network, optimize the charging structure, enhance charging efficiency, improve service quality, and innovate the industrial ecosystem, further boosting consumer confidence and promoting the purchase and use of electric vehicles on a larger scale.
By the end of 2027, a total of 2.05 million charging facilities will be built across the province, providing over 17 million kilowatts of public charging capacity, and a high-quality charging infrastructure system characterized by balanced layout, reasonable structure, inclusive sharing, and smart innovation will be basically established, meeting the charging needs of 4 million electric vehicles and doubling the charging service capacity.
