The more I use multi-chain wallets, the more they resemble drawers for storage... I accidentally end up breaking them into a bunch: the main wallet holds the major assets, a dedicated "interaction wallet" runs tasks, and the rest are split into small accounts by chain, just to avoid mixing them together. After each interaction, I casually note down a line: which chain, which address I used, how much gas I spent, and over the weekend, I’ll consolidate all the small balances, otherwise I won’t be able to find them next time.

Recently, bridges have had issues again, and oracles are acting up with fluctuating quotes. Honestly, I now prefer to be slower with cross-chain transactions—if I see "waiting for confirmation," I just wait, no need to rush. The extra step I’m willing to take for security is: leave a little local gas on each chain, to reduce the number of bridge crossings. It’s a hassle, but at least I can sleep a bit easier.
