UN Secretary-General's Spokesperson: Over 820k Lebanese Displaced Persons

UN Secretary-General’s spokesperson Diarrick stated at a routine press conference that more than 822k Lebanese have registered with the government as displaced persons, including nearly 300k children. He also said that UN Secretary-General Guterres, who is visiting Lebanon, announced a humanitarian aid appeal of approximately $300 million on the same day, aimed at providing survival support for 1 million affected people.
