Trump complains that NATO doesn't help and only makes excuses
On April 1, local time, U.S. President Trump once again criticized NATO allies for coming up with all kinds of excuses and justifications to refuse to help the United States with strikes against Iran. He also mimicked the remarks used by French President Macron and British Prime Minister Starmer when they were looking for excuses. Trump mimicked Macron and Starmer’s own excuse-phrases and said that the U.S. does not need NATO, but that he had made the request simply to see how NATO would respond. Trump said he is seriously considering withdrawing from NATO. Trump said in a recent interview with the British “The Daily Telegraph” that he is seriously considering having the United States exit NATO. (CCTV International News)
