Letters as face-to-face encounters.

In this season of all things growing, there are colorful cherry blossoms, gentle crabapples, and blooming magnolias like snow. In Anji, Zhejiang, in April, spring tea is in fragrant bloom. From April 17 to 19, a grand gathering of “Magnolias” in the business world will also take place here. Over a hundred entrepreneurs, experts, scholars, and cross-industry influencers will gather to explore the growth and blossoming of women’s power.

We have traveled a long way to deliver this invitation into your hands. This year marks the 18th year of the “Business Magnolia Annual Conference” launched by China Entrepreneur magazine.

Since 2009, over the past 17 years, China Entrepreneur has witnessed the rise of women’s power in the business world, with more than 200 outstanding women selected as “Annual Business Magnolias.” Among them are women born in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and even the 30s. We aim not only to discover the value of women in business but also to promote women’s entrepreneurial spirit and to shape the strength of women entrepreneurs.

In the AI era, the most irreplaceable role in the business world is that of the entrepreneur. The “Magnolias” in business are using their unique wisdom, compassion, and courage to not only help define the future but also to inject precious human warmth into the torrent of computing power.

This year, the theme of the event is “Her Creation · Boundless.”

“Her Creation” is not just about entrepreneurship; it’s a creative life stance. From awakening “her power” to the rise of “her economy,” and then to “her leadership,” it represents a philosophy rooted in the fundamental essence of life.

“Boundless” signifies the dissolution of industry boundaries. For female entrepreneurs, this is not only a tool revolution but also a rewriting of rules—when computing power becomes productivity, and data becomes a new means of production, gender is no longer a label in the business world. Thinking and perspective are the true measures of success.

Her creation is free because of the boundless; the boundless is enriched because of her creation. When “Her Creation” meets “Boundless,” it’s like a spark illuminating the digital wilderness.

This year’s conference is set deep within the bamboo sea of Anji, the source of the Huangpu River, and a land where all things can breathe freely. Anji’s backbone is bamboo, humble and open-minded, embodying the resilience of contemporary women entrepreneurs—soft yet strong, growing step by step; with tea as its vein, white leaves like jade, symbolizing the wisdom of business magnolias—having endured winter’s concealment, accumulating strength for a spring bloom.

So, don’t think of this event as just an ordinary “meeting.” “Her” is more like a space, allowing people from different paths, identities, stages, and confusions to find their own moment.

Focus on business hotspots, anchor future trends

If you are an investor, entrepreneur, or perhaps navigating countless pitch sessions, searching through hundreds of business plans for that “right person,” this time, we’re not just looking but witnessing—witnessing stories that are hidden behind data and reports, stories belonging to people.

2026 marks the beginning of China’s “14th Five-Year Plan,” and the economy is at a critical stage of high-quality development, with AI as one of the key variables.

When a transformation is inevitable, how can entrepreneurs survive under extreme pressures of capital, markets, and supply chains, and even achieve organizational and model evolution? How can we overcome the path dependency of “innovator’s dilemma” and nurture disruptive innovation within existing systems? How to build a stronger inner world, manage stress, overcome loneliness, and maintain passion and judgment amid continuous setbacks?

In the opening speech titled “Expedition—Forging Resilient Growth,” we invite guests such as Li Zhaoqian, President of the China Private Economy Research Association and former Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce; Qiao Jian, Senior Vice President of Lenovo Group; Wu Zhao, CEO of DingTalk; and Zeng Yanhong, the first person to summit Everest with China’s Suda to discuss where the latest industry trends are heading, where the next growth points lie, and how the forces truly changing the industry landscape are growing.

In the AI era, the core question is exploring the ultimate meaning of technology—whether it’s about creating wonders or generating value. At the Magnolia Annual Conference, we’ve set up a high-level dialogue—“Critical Point: AI 2026, From Wonder to Foundation.” We’ve invited guests including Wang Lei, Founder of Zhongke Wenge; Li Xue, Founder of Ladder Medical; and Yang Tianrun, Founder and CEO of Naughty Labs to explore how AI deeply embedded in enterprise processes and work scenarios is reshaping the underlying logic of business.

Additionally, the “Healthy China” strategic blueprint is accelerating from top-level design into an industrial wave. We stand at a crucial intersection: the next decade will be a time of giants emerging, track divisions, and industry standards being set. We plan to invite guests such as Liu Wenjing, Chairwoman of Blue Ocean Medical; Jiang Jian, CEO of Shanghai Quanlan Technology; and Bo Yu, Founder of Rehabilitation Home to discuss which niche tracks will produce giants and what core capabilities will serve as the moat for companies crossing cycles.

You will also hear from guests like Kong Dongmei, Founder and Chairwoman of the Rurun Public Welfare Foundation; Zhao Yan, Chairwoman of Huaxi Biological about how to anchor direction amid the wave of new productive forces. If you care about the industry landscape of the next decade, this event will give you a clear coordinate system.

Crossing boundaries, listening to “Her” stories

If you are on the entrepreneurial path, working with partners to grind through R&D, talking about clients in wind and rain; or if you are sitting in a humble office, or working at your dining table at home—

Can this road be traveled? Does the loneliness and doubt in the dead of night understand you? Are those初心 that cannot be measured by KPIs still worth holding onto?

We see the light in your eyes; we feel the mud under your feet. This Magnolia conference features a segment called “Stars’ Monologue · My Original Aspiration.” Every entrepreneur is a unique “stardust,” and their entrepreneurial journey is a magnificent narrative—small individuals placed alongside the vast universe. Yang Anquan, President of Osim Holdings; Liu Na, Founder and CEO of Xingchen New Energy; and Jiang Xiaoying, General Manager of Xiangpiaopiao Brand Innovation Center will share stories related to “original aspiration,” composing a personal history of creation.

We also have a dialogue titled “Reassessing Offline Value.” Reassessing offline is not simply about returning but about elevating cognition. It means transcending the traditional view of offline as merely “channel” or “supplement,” and instead discovering its irreplaceable advantages: such as deep experiential fields, genuine trust building, instant satisfaction, and spontaneous surprises.

Fan Wenhua, founder of Fan Wenhua Facial Care; Dong Xue, Chairman of Laoxiangji Group; Chen Lingmei, founder of Winner Apparel; and Li Mengmeng, CEO of Mingren Soda Water will sit together to discuss those “irreplaceable” things. Whether it’s a customer remembering your name, a handwritten letter from an old client, or the aroma of rice in your shop—these are things AI cannot learn.

Finally, in this AI explosion era, the ideal of AI is to eliminate all inconveniences and create an increasingly “smooth” world. But do we also need some friction? Can we create value that AI cannot replace?

As AI becomes more human-like, will people still want to be human? Or dare we still be human—embracing imperfection, inefficiency, clumsiness, and holding onto things that algorithms cannot understand? Guests like Wang Jing, Chairman of Fujian Newland Technology Group, will also share how to anchor human coordinates amid the technological torrent.

Stepping out of the house, standing in spring

After experiencing this feast of ideas, this spring weekend is also your long-awaited day of rest.

On the morning of April 19, we have prepared three mountains for you to visit.

The first route, to Yu Village, to explore the “Xiaoyin Half-Day Village.” It’s the place where “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” first took root. Deep in the bamboo forest, there are cafes and people painting by the stream. Climb over the mountain in your mind, and someone will surely listen to your story.

The second route, to ascend the clouds and grasslands. Take the cable car to a place at 1,168 meters above sea level. There are cliff swings and glass walkways. The things lost in cubicles will be returned to you by the mountains and waters.

The third route, to Zhongnan Hundred Grassland, then to Songming Tea Museum. See animals, enjoy flower seas, and learn a tea ceremony. Master artisans will teach you how to brew a cup of Anji white tea—what water temperature? How to pour water? How does brewing time affect the taste?

If you don’t have time to attend in person, you can also open the “China Entrepreneur” live stream, follow our lens to catch the latest business trends, listen to stories of “Her Creation,” and see landscapes beyond algorithms. We look forward to your wisdom lighting the candle of this feast of ideas.

We invite you to give yourself a day this spring.
