Just now I wanted to do a cross-chain transfer, but the page kept prompting "Waiting for confirmation," and I almost impulsively clicked to accelerate. After calming down, I remembered that the biggest risk with bridges isn't slowness, but not knowing who they are actually listening to: whether the multi-signature group is online, or if the data fed by the oracle has been compromised. To put it simply, "Waiting for confirmation" is just giving you a pause—don't hand your assets over to a trust chain you don't understand and rush it. Recently, everyone has been watching the unlock calendar daily, shouting about selling pressure, but I'm actually more worried about a small hiccup on the bridge side—before the unlock even happens, I might have already crossed myself... Forget it, I won't mess around tonight.
