Iraq extends airspace closure by 72 hours

On the 7th local time, the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority announced that control measures for all arriving, departing, and transit aircraft in Iraqi airspace will be extended for another 72 hours until noon on the 10th. Iraq’s current airspace closure measures were implemented after the United States and Israel launched a joint military strike against Iran on February 28. Iran subsequently carried out missile and drone attacks on Israeli and American targets in the Middle East, and the regional situation suddenly escalated. (CCTV News)
