X New Cashtags feature launches, trading volume exceeds 1 billion USD in two days
Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 18th, according to Cointelegraph, since the launch of the Cashtags feature on social media platform X this Tuesday, approximately $1 billion in trading volume has been generated within two days. This feature allows users to select specific assets or contract addresses when posting, and by clicking the tag, they can view real-time price charts and related posts. Currently, it is only available to iPhone users in the United States and Canada. Canadian online broker Wealthsimple has completed integration first, allowing users to jump directly to their trading platform, but U.S. domestic brokers have not yet connected.
In addition, X's peer-to-peer payment system X Money is also progressing, planning to offer income accounts, cashback debit cards, and other features. It has already obtained money transfer licenses in more than 40 states in the U.S. The above initiatives are all part of Elon Musk's strategic layout to turn X into a "super app."
