Lately, I've been looking at some PFP/member project communities again. To be honest, when things are lively, anyone can shout "brand," but when things quiet down, you can see whether there are real users using and talking about it. Many membership benefits are written quite comprehensively, but they seem more like amplifiers of short-term attention, and they fade away after a few weeks... I actually care more about those that are not rushing to expand but are slowly refining the experience.

Recently, retail investors on the blockchain have been complaining about validator income, MEV, and whether transaction ordering is fair. I can understand: you buy a membership for a sense of certainty, but when the transaction order changes, it all becomes luck, which can be pretty frustrating. Anyway, I’ve lowered my expectations: I don’t expect to encounter the next big IP right away, just focus on a few public chain ecosystems with genuine users, wait patiently, and over time, it becomes easier to stick with it.
