According to Decrypt, U.S. Republican Congressman Sheri Biggs disclosed that on March 4th she purchased BlackRock Bitcoin Spot ETF IBIT, with a declared maximum amount of $250k. Biggs had previously reported a maximum IBIT purchase of $250k in July 2025. The report states that Biggs is categorized by Coinbase's Stand With Crypto Alliance as a "strong supporter of crypto" lawmaker, having previously supported several related bills in the House, including the CLARITY Act and the GENIUS Act.
