These past two days, messages in the group have been scrolling like a waterfall, and a single line from a KOL, “Opportunities are here,” can light people’s emotions up. To put it simply, when it comes to impulsive buying, no one really has to take responsibility—because in the end, it’s the person who presses the confirm button... But I’ll also blame the environment for being too noisy. Especially when the airdrop season hits: the task platform cracks down on bots, and with a points-based system, “farming for rewards” feels like clocking in at work. Everyone is competing, and I get even more anxious.

What I’m most afraid of isn’t losing money, but getting pushed along by the messages until I act before I’ve really thought it through. What I do now is this: when I see the group getting hyped, I put my phone face down on the table first, wait until my emotions cool down, then check on-chain data and my positions—only if I can sleep, I make the move. Otherwise, I let it go.
