I tried once to follow a whale address and copy their trades, but the more I watched, the more off it seemed: their large buy-ins are definitely for building a position, but at the same time, they opened a hedge position on the other side, and I got shaken out when the price suddenly moved... To put it simply, seeing "buy" on the address doesn't necessarily mean bullish; it could just be locking in costs or hedging risks.

Recently, before and after the upgrade/maintenance of that mainstream public chain, everyone in the group has been speculating whether the ecosystem will migrate. I actually prefer to see if real on-chain users are moving: cross-chain bridge usage, contract interactions, wallet activity—these are more reliable than just listening to stories. Before I ask myself what the whale is doing now: is it adding to its position or protecting it? If I can't tell, I’ll wait first. Anyway, I watch the hype, and I wait during the quiet times.
