I'm really a bit afraid of this round of attention economy. When the hot topics change, the timeline feels like someone has turned the fast-forward button. One second we're talking about the narrative, and the next second it's "If you don't get in now, you'll miss out."

I've now set a strict rule for myself: first ask, "Can I explain clearly in plain language how this thing makes money and where the risks are?" If I can't explain it clearly, I just pretend I didn't see it. Better to miss out than to keep getting cut again and again.

Recently, the staking and shared security setups have also been quite noisy. To put it simply, many of the yield stacking looks like a nested doll. The more layers there are, the more I want to first calculate who will run first during liquidation or a run on the bank. Don't want everyone to withdraw at the same time and end up queuing on the chain for ages.

What I fear most isn't actually missing out on opportunities, but the impulse to rush in when I clearly don't understand. Anyway, I now prefer to go slower, understand first before acting. If I don't understand, I’ll just treat it as paying the tuition fee for "holding back and not moving."
