🔥World ID Protocol Upgrade: Integrating Tinder and Zoom to Strengthen Real-Person Verification Applications


On April 18, World announced a major upgrade to the World ID protocol, covering approximately 18 million users worldwide who have passed Orb verification, and expanding to more than 160 countries. The upgrade introduces multiple application scenarios: integrating with Tinder to provide real-person verification badges; connecting with Zoom to launch an anti-deepfake verification feature; releasing the ticketing tool Concert Kit for event ticket identity verification and anti-scalping. World also simultaneously launched a standalone World ID app beta version as a cross-platform identity verification tool, and open-sourced the SDK.
