Wu Shuo learned that U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) documents show that the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has submitted a rule change proposal to add Rule 7.50 and revise related trading and settlement rules to support securities trading as tokens within the DTC three-decade tokenization pilot framework; this mechanism allows qualified participants to trade tokenized stocks and exchange-traded products within the existing market structure, with DTC responsible for clearing and settlement, without changing traditional securities trading methods, aiming to enhance market competition and expand investor access to tokenized securities.
