These past few days, I've seen a bunch of social mining and points tasks again. As I kept scrolling, it looked like the reflective surface on the street after rain: shiny, but if you step on it, you'll realize it's a puddle. To put it simply, badges and identities are quite tempting, but once you start "keeping up" by checking in, sharing, or acting as a parrot, your time is gradually drained away.

I'm not regretful about the outcome, but about the days I invested my attention as a stake. Meme and celebrity shoutouts rotate in cycles, newcomers chase the hype, seasoned players advise against taking the last baton, which is really a warning: don’t turn yourself into platform fuel. Anyway, I now prefer to slow down a bit, occasionally do small on-chain emotional experiments—participate if you understand, ignore if you don’t. That’s all for now.
