The on-chain congestion is ridiculous again today. Even sending a small transaction feels like taking a number and waiting in the mempool: first it just hangs there without moving, and later it might get pushed to the back by someone with higher fees. The most annoying part is thinking you clicked and that’s it, but actually it’s still “waiting for someone to process it.” I usually just keep an eye on it for a moment—if it’s really slow, I cancel and resend. In any case, I’d rather wait a bit longer than rush and pay more just to force it through.

These days, Meme and celebrity call-your-shot attention cycles are back. The more this happens, the easier it is for someone to go chasing wildly amid the congestion, and then the trade closes at the top and they blame the chain for being slow… Old players say don’t take the last step of the last leg—seriously, it’s not just for show. Oh right, I muted the group, and it feels so much better. Fewer “rush, rush, rush” hypnotic vibes—my mind stays clearer. After finishing the interaction, I also revoke the authorization, like locking the door—steadier, more at ease.
