Scrolling through on-chain records until my eyes hurt, recently there’s been a surge in interpretations like “Large transfers + exchange hot and cold wallets moving = smart money coming in”... If an AI agent blindly follows and copies trades, it’s basically handing over the steering wheel to screenshot enthusiasts.
To put it simply, what the agent can currently do is mostly “execute”: monitor addresses, send transactions, move positions, run processes. But there are still many steps that truly require human oversight: 1) Whether the signal truly comes from the same entity, whether it’s internal aggregation, chain switching, or custody rebalancing; 2) Permissions and limits—signing still needs a human to review, otherwise changing the contract or granting authorization can become troublesome; 3) Exception handling—gas issues, replays, being sandwiched, routing changes... Machines will retry, but humans need to decide whether to stop. Anyway, I currently only let it handle alerts and small-scale probes; major moves still require manual confirmation.
