SEC Chair launches first podcast, clearly signaling a crypto-friendly regulatory stance
Mars Finance News: According to Decrypt, U.S. SEC Chairman Paul Atkins launched the official podcast “Material Matters” for the first episode, jointly discussing a pro-innovation regulatory stance with Commissioner Hester Peirce and Mark Uyeda. Atkins stated that the U.S. should become the world’s preferred place for innovation and described the current situation as an “important turning point for the U.S. market.” Uyeda criticized how the SEC has deviated from its core responsibilities during Gensler’s era, while Peirce emphasized that regulation should be open to innovators.
