Lately, I've been jumping back and forth between the mainnet and L2, really choosing between "high gas fees pain" and "smooth user experience"—whichever is less uncomfortable. For someone like me who occasionally visits on-chain exhibitions or casually collects small images, when the mainnet gas gets high, I instinctively hold back on actions, waiting until midnight when it's cheaper to do everything in one go; but if I need to confirm something immediately (like grabbing a limited edition mint), I still grit my teeth and use the mainnet to avoid the anxiety of bridging back and forth.

My colleague also complained yesterday that the blockchain game economy has collapsed again, basically due to inflation and studio chaos—when the token price drops, everyone runs, and the on-chain hype quickly fades. Anyway, I now prefer: small daily interactions on L2, leaving only the few steps on the mainnet where I don't want surprises, accepting that it might be a bit slower.
