Recently, I saw everyone discussing the upgrade/maintenance of a certain mainstream public chain. Some are guessing whether the ecosystem will migrate, while others are busy moving assets... I instead focus on how I "store my keys." Honestly, once the asset size increases, the biggest concern isn't market fluctuations, but slip-ups and losing keys.
Hardware wallets are quite suitable for the stage where "I just want to hold steadily." Plug it in, sign, and you're done, but the seed phrase must be treated like a life key and kept safe; multi-signature is more like joint management of funds, requiring several people to approve a transfer, suitable for teams/public vaults, though a bit more troublesome; social recovery is more friendly for beginners—if you lose your phone, you can still recover it, but the "guardian" must be trustworthy—don't mistake personal relationships for security.
The information environment is too noisy. My noise-canceling strategy is simple: first determine the plan based on asset size, then decide whether to chase after those "migration rumors," otherwise you'll be pushed around every day.
