Cross-chain bridges, to put it simply, are like "trust someone else to hold your assets for a while." Multi-signature looks more decentralized, but really it's just afraid that a few people will act foolishly in sync; the same goes for oracles—when the price feed jitters, the bridge on the other side also trembles. Recently, funding rates have been extreme again, and in the group, people are arguing whether to reverse or keep pumping the bubble. I'm more concerned about this: during such times, don't complain about the "waiting for confirmation" on the bridge being slow—being a bit slower at least gives you a chance to notice something's wrong.

If you can only keep one habit: wait a few minutes before cross-chain transfers, don't rush that breath.
