Recently, I've been browsing the PFP community again and noticed that everyone talks about "membership benefits/long-term branding," but they're still focused on floor prices... I'm no exception. Last night, I tried to sweep a small avatar with 0.01 ETH, but I kept watching the market until 2:30 a.m., and the more I looked, the more guilty I felt. Honestly, for PFP to really become a brand, it needs continuous output and things that can be used offline/online; otherwise, it's just a momentary wave of attention. As for the royalty fee debate, it's quite realistic: creators want to make a living, secondary markets want liquidity, and those caught in the middle are often us who impulsively buy in. Anyway, I now care more about whether someone is willing to stay long-term in the group and do work; without that, even the most beautiful images can easily become cold.
