Director of the National Health Commission, Lei Haichao, said at the press conference on the theme of people’s livelihood during the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress on March 7 that by 2025, the proportion of outpatient visits at grassroots medical and health institutions in China will reach 52.6% of the total outpatient visits nationwide for the year, and grassroots medical and health institutions will achieve a continuous increase in both outpatient visits and their proportion for five consecutive years.
