National Health Commission: As of now, 33 million families have received child-rearing subsidies.
The Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress held a press conference on people’s livelihood today.
Li HaiChao, Director of the National Health Commission, introduced that the Chinese government provides parenting subsidies of 3,600 yuan annually for infants born after January 1, 2022, in accordance with laws and regulations, until they reach 3 years old.
As of now, 33 million families have received parenting subsidies. (CCTV News)
