Just looked at some data on the richest cities in florida and honestly the wealth concentration is wild. Miami-Fort Lauderdale area is absolutely dominating - like 12 out of 24 wealthiest suburbs are in that metro. Palm Beach is leading hard with $356k average household income and homes averaging over $10 million. Pinecrest is second at $312k income, also in the same area.

What's interesting is how the top richest cities florida keeps getting dominated by the same metro regions. You've got Palm Beach, Pinecrest, Parkland, Coral Gables, Palmetto Bay, Weston, Palm Beach Gardens, Lighthouse Point, Boca Raton, Jupiter, Cooper City, and Wellington all clustered in that Miami-Fort Lauderdale zone. Average incomes for these range from $155k to $356k, with home values mostly between $700k and $2.4 million.

Outside that area, the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford metro has Lake Butler, Winter Park, Doctor Phillips, and Lake Mary making the list. Jacksonville area has some presence too with Jacksonville Beach and Atlantic Beach. Tampa-St. Petersburg has Westchase, Apollo Beach, and Lutz. If you're looking at the richest cities florida has to offer, you're basically looking at these three metro regions - but Miami-Fort Lauderdale is clearly where the money concentrates. Data's from mid-2025, so it's pretty current.
