Shanghai: Build a node system for interconnected computing power, improve the efficiency of public computing resources usage and service levels

Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization and Shanghai Municipal Communications Administration issued a notice that, according to the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, organized the construction of computing power interconnection nodes for key industries in the city to establish a system of computing power interconnection nodes, improve the efficiency and service level of public computing resources, and promote high-quality development of computing power. Industry nodes will build a computing power supply and demand matching system for key industries in the city to achieve standardized interconnection and efficient flow of computing resources across different regions, entities, and architectures within the city, enhancing overall computing power levels. The computing power interconnection nodes will operate under a “unified identification, unified standards, and unified rules” mechanism. (Shanghai Government)
