During the morning rush hour, an old man was standing in front of me, staring at me.

I felt really embarrassed, so I stood up and said, "Sir, please sit down."
The old man waved his hand and said, "No need, I just want to see if you young people really know how to pretend to sleep."
I was stunned for a moment.
A lady next to him chimed in, "He just stole a glance at you three times earlier, he was just waiting for you to speak." The whole carriage was laughing.
I stood for six stops, and my legs went numb.
