Thinking back to 2015 and 2016 when I used an Apple phone, back then there were the U.S. version and the China and Hong Kong versions.
At that time, people on Shengnan South Road generally called the Hong Kong version a gray-market product, and China Airlines also charged extra. In reality, it was China Airlines that was the one that got “cut down.”
Now when I think about it, it’s kind of hilarious—paying extra to buy a “cut-down” version.
