just saw that Fastenal's CFO Holden Lewis put in his resignation notice back in December, and it officially took effect yesterday. pretty interesting move because he's not actually leaving the company entirely—Holden Lewis is staying on to help with the transition until they find a replacement. the filing made a point to say there's no drama behind it, no disagreements about accounting or operations or anything like that. so basically Holden Lewis is doing an orderly handoff rather than a messy exit. wonder how long the search for a new CFO will take given the market conditions. anyway, FAST has been getting hit with downgrades lately so this transition period could be crucial for them.
