Moderate exercise to nourish kidney yang

The movement to nourish kidney yang can refer to the sixth form of Baduanjin, "Climbing the feet with both hands to strengthen the kidneys and waist." Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, raise both hands above the head and then press down, slowly bend the body forward, try to grasp the ankles with both hands, tuck the waist and lift the head, hold for 3 seconds, then raise the arms forward to help stand up, repeat 5-8 times. This movement gently stretches the waist, stimulates acupoints such as Mingmen, activates kidney qi, and relieves back pain.

At the same time, it should be noted that excessive exercise can deplete yang qi. Whether lifting heavy objects in daily life or exercising in the gym, avoid blindly performing high-intensity weight training; after exercise, pores open, and it is crucial not to shower immediately to prevent cold air from entering and damaging yang qi.
