Today I'm again on the chain "waiting"... waiting for confirmation, waiting for callbacks, waiting to think things through. I casually checked the oracle price feed and realized that sometimes liquidation isn't because your position is too outrageous, but because the quotes are slow by half a beat: you think you're still within the safe zone, but the next update jumps straight into the deep water zone, bang, it's gone, with no time to react. Basically, the market moves faster than the price feed, and leveraged traders can only follow their heartbeat accelerating. Thinking about the recent spiral of on-chain games with inflation and studio dumping, it's actually similar to price feed delays—things look fine at first, then suddenly everything settles at once... Anyway, as a laid-back cat, I open fewer multiples, wait patiently, just to avoid getting hurt too badly by the education.
