These days, I keep seeing stories about cross-chain bridges being hacked and oracles reporting errors with that collective understanding of "wait for confirmation." I suddenly realize that the harshest aspect of the attention economy isn't the ups and downs, but that once you stop, you start to feel itchy: hot topics change too quickly, and your mind gets pulled along with them. Anyway, I now deliberately slow down a bit, and when I see trending searches, I first ask myself: am I just watching the narrative, or am I being led by the narrative? If I really decide to act, I only leave myself a small window; if I miss it, so be it—no chasing to make up for missed opportunities. Ultimately, what I’ve learned isn’t techniques, but how to prevent my attention from being easily taken away by anyone.
