Japan considers investing 15 trillion yen for its second U.S. investment project

The Japanese government is considering providing a total of approximately 15 trillion yen for the second batch of projects related to its $550 billion investment commitment in the U.S. The projects listed as main investment candidates include: next-generation nuclear reactor construction, liquid crystal display (LCD) and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) manufacturing plants, and copper smelting facilities. Among these, the largest scale will be the nuclear reactor construction, with Japan reviewing a proposal to build 10 nuclear reactors manufactured by U.S. company Westinghouse. (Sina Finance)
