So I've been looking into these walk and earn money apps lately because honestly, just hitting the gym feels boring without some extra motivation. Turns out there are actually quite a few apps out there that'll reward you for your steps — some give you gift cards, others let you donate to charity, and a few even let you bet on yourself to stay consistent.
Like Evidation connects with your Fitbit or Apple Watch and you earn points for walking, running, biking, whatever. Once you hit 10k points you can cash out for $10 or donate it. Then there's Charity Miles which is kind of cool because your miles literally become donations to charities you pick. And if you're competitive, StepBet lets you literally bet money on reaching your fitness goals over six weeks — they guarantee you won't lose if you actually hit your targets.
I looked at PaidToGo too and apparently you can earn up to 10 cents per mile, so theoretically $75 a month if you're really walking a lot. There's also Sweatcoin which is free, and apps like LifeCoin that give you gift cards or even merchandise like Apple Watches. Paceline's got this thing where you need 150 active minutes a week and you can grab Amazon gift cards or discounts.
Honestly though? Don't expect to get rich from any walk and earn money app. It's more like... if you need that little push to actually go outside and move, these apps give you a reason to do it. The rewards are basically a bonus on top. But yeah, worth downloading if you're looking for some extra incentive to stay active.
