U.S. President Trump said he expects an agreement with Iran to be announced soon, which will bring “free oil” and “free passage through the Strait of Hormuz” to the United States. When asked about the economy and oil prices, Trump said that current oil prices are below what was previously expected—about only half of what people originally anticipated. He added that the negotiations have been very successful, and if an agreement is reached, oil prices could fall further.
